Pordoi Pass is a mountain pass in the Dolomites that extends at an average height of about 2,240 meters. Thanks to the modern cable car, you can reach the summit of Pordoi at 2,950 meters in just a few minutes. Furka Pass is a famous mountain pass in the Swiss Alps at 2,431 meters above sea level and one of the highest roads in the Alps. This is one of the most iconic and exciting roads in the world. The Pass is known as the site of a memorable car chase scene in a James Bond movie – Goldfinger. About 35 km of driving along the pass starts with a few tight turns that provide spectacular views of the area and then the road becomes steeper towards the summit. In one of the curves, there is the iconic Belvedere Hotel and a lookout point towards an impressive glacier. This is the most accessible glacier in Switzerland – just a few meters from the parking lot to its southern end. The Furka Pass is another stunning 5-star pass in the center of the Swiss Alps that ends in the magical alpine town of Andermatt.


Susten Pass is a high mountain road in the Swiss Alps at the foot of the Gotthard Mountain, approximately 46 kilometers long. The architecturally spectacular road offers endless photo opportunities and comprises 26 bridges and tunnels carved into the Alps. One 300-meter-long tunnel crosses the pass at 2,224 meters. The road serves mainly tourism purposes and is particularly popular for viewing the glacier on the south side. It is one of the most exciting passes and driving it illustrates why the Swiss Alps are a paradise for driving enthusiasts from all over the world. The pass is one of the highlights of Porsche trips in Europe.


Klausen Pass is one of the most beautiful and pristine Alpine passes in Switzerland. The main reason for the relatively light traffic is that there is a parallel highway and road users who do not come specifically to enjoy this stunning road will choose the highway, leaving the Klausen Pass free for locals and enthusiastic drivers only. The road includes no less than 136 fast, adrenaline-filled turns and is not only winding, it also includes serious elevation changes so that between its beginning and end there is a difference of no less than 1,237 meters in elevation, which certainly adds to the scenery around it and its drama. The road is full of beautiful waterfalls and in the valley, there is an impressive waterfall with water that falls several hundred meters into the green abyss. Driving here with a convertible roof is truly an experience and almost no other Alpine pass offers such a view.


Grimsel Pass is a mountain pass at an altitude of 2,164 meters above sea level in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. From its summit, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the famous Furka Pass. On a clear day, you can also look out over the mighty peaks of the Valais region in southwestern Switzerland and a beautiful glacier to the south. The view on the north side of the pass includes several artificial lakes created by dams built for electricity generation. You can also see high peaks of over 4,000 meters and many glaciers on the west side of the road. On the east side of the road, you can see waterfalls falling from a height of about 50 meters into the river flowing in the valley, and on the east side, the mountains are also covered in glaciers. The pass is open in the summer months and closed in the winter.


Oberalp Pass is a high mountain pass (approximately 2,044 meters above sea level) located in the Swiss Alps, providing panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and picturesque alpine landscapes. The well-maintained road is popular for car and motorcycle tours, especially in summer when it is open to vehicle traffic. The only and highest lighthouse in the Alps is located at the top of the pass and alongside a waterfall and spectacular views, the pass provides a rich combination of natural beauty, making it a highlight for hikers in the Swiss Alps.

The Stelvio Pass is a challenging, spectacular road, the highest in Italy and is located in the Alps near the border with Switzerland. The dramatic road, which snakes its way up the mountainside, was made even more famous by the popular TV show Top Gear, where it was declared one of the best driving roads in the world. The view of the valley below is spectacular and the drive is an experience in itself. The Alpine Pass is a masterpiece of road engineering, approximately 23 km long, 48 bends and at an altitude of approximately 2,800 meters above sea level. It is also among the highest roads in the world. There are hotels, restaurants and shops along the road.


Grossglockner is an alpine road that leads deep into the heart of Austria’s largest national park, spanning the provinces of Salzburg, Tyrol and Carinthia. Peaks over 3,000 meters high appear along the way, but the highest peak of all is the Grossglockner – an impressive mountain that rises to a height of 3,798 meters. Visitors from all over the world come to enjoy the views and one of the main attractions of the Carinthian region of Austria. There are about 12 spectacular viewpoints scattered along the route, and at the final point, you can witness a wonderful view of the Grossglockner mountain and the longest glacier in the Alps.

The roads are designed, built and maintained for high-speed driving and most sections have two, three, or even four lanes in each direction.
